We love food. Preparing it, eating it, reading about it, looking at it, dreaming about it, and travelling for it.
We’ll happily travel to a remote Korean village just because it has the best bibimbap in the world.
Years ago, we headed out to explore the world’s cuisines. We cooked our way through the UK, France, Italy, Cyprus, the States and more. Working in ski chalets and super-yachts, wherever we ended up, we loved learning about the local food.
Fourteen years later, in Japan on a sake-ramen-sushi tour, we cooked up our most perfect creation: our son Charlie. Looking for a family home, a visit to the Noosa Farmers Market settled it and after 11 years in Noosa, we love it as much as ever.
So why Cook Noosa, the book? Because all three of us know that Noosa’s food scene – the incredible restaurants, cafés, food vans, boutique butchers, farms and fresh market produce – is just amazing and want to share the best of it with everyone.

By submitting your recipe and photographs, you confirm that you own all submitted materials and give Cook Noosa full rights to publish them in print, online, and on social media and any other form of promotion. In return, we promise to credit you as the originator and source of the recipe. Cook Noosa reserves the right to make any necessary changes to submitted materials prior to publication to ensure a consistent standard of presentation.
Finally, space is sadly limited and we may not be able to publish every submission. When choosing which recipes to publish, we balance two criteria: 1) we want the best recipes; and 2) we want a wide range of recipes that truly represent the Noosa food scene.
